GROOVIN the Moo’s Maitland leg is officially sold out.
The Maitland Showground festival is the second leg of the touring regional festival’s 2016 tour to sell out, with Bendigo tickets gone in late February.
Promoter Stephen Halpin thanked Maitland fans for their enthusiasm.
“Thank you Maitland and all the NSW Moo fans who’ve committed to come along for what will be a magic opening event of the GTM tour,” he said. “We are super excited with the program this year and can’t wait to launch it with you and the Maitland community.”
The event’s line-up changed last month when rapper Vic Mensa and rockers Mutemath dropped off the bill.
Jarryd James and What So Not were named as replacements to join headliners including Alison Wonderland, Boy & Bear, MS MR and the Rubens.
Organisers will be hoping for a smoother run in 2016 after the April storms devastated the Hunter weeks before the May 9 concert last year.
