A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after her car struck a tree at Adamstown Heights this morning.
Paramedics said they were called to Princeton Avenue about 10.30am, where the 43-year-old was trapped in her vehicle for a period of time.
She was eventually freed and taken to the John Hunter Hospital.
An Ambulance NSW spokeswoman said she had suffered a leg injury and a possible head injury and was transported in a serious but stable condition.
