Jets announce Inspirations Paint have re-signed as away jersey sponsors

NEWCASTLE Jets are confident of securing a lucrative Chinese naming-rights sponsor for their home kits after announcing on Thursday that Inspirations Paint had re-signed as their away-jersey brand.

Newcastle unveiled a new gold-and-blue kit that closely resembles the colours worn during their foundation years, including the 2007-08 premiership campaign.

“It will be great to wear a gold strip again, and I know the boys are happy with how our new away kits look and feel,” said defender Jason Hoffman, Newcastle’s sole remaining member of the 2008 grand final squad.

The Jets’ home kits, which last season featured Beechwood Homes as major sponsor, currently sport signage for club owner Martin Lee’s lighting company, the Ledman Group. But Lee is aiming to secure a replacement sponsor from his homeland.

To promote their partnership, Inspirations Paint have transformed a house opposite Hunter Stadium with a striking red, blue and gold makeover. It will be repainted at season’s end.
