Hamish and Andy’s Cool Boys and the Frontman play Newcastle gig | video

HAMISH and Andy have joined forces with The Wiggles in a bid to blow the roof off the University of Newcastle’s School of Nursing Grad Ball on Wednesday night.

The radio duo performed at the private Queens Wharf event as their band Cool Boys and the Front Man, with original blue Wiggle Anthony Field and current Wiggle Lachy Gillespie rounding out the act.

You can see some of the “for one song only” show’s cover of AC/DC’s Long Way to the Top, below.

The show is part of the Cool Boys and the Frontman tour through regional Australia, which has a rest day on Thursday before a final show in Byron Bay on Friday.

Other dates have included a Wodonga school formal and re-opening a pub in Rankin Springs with Shannon Noll at the microphone.
