Hunter Coast Premier Hockey League: Gosford maintain unbeaten start to season

Souths were unable to stop Gosford’s unbeaten start to the Hunter Coast Premier Hockey League season on Sunday.

The Newcastle side were defeated 4-3 in a top-of-the-table clash away against their Central Coast rivals.

Gosford (18 points) now extend their lead on the competition ladder while Souths (15) slip to third after Norths (16) trounced Maitland (8) 11-2. 

In the remaining round 11 fixture The Entrance (3) accounted for University (2) 2-1. Wests had the bye.
