Ciraldo signs with Panthers

KNIGHTS forward Cameron Ciraldo has agreed to join Penrith next year on a two-season deal.

Ciraldo, 26, joined Newcastle from Cronulla in 2008 and has played in 41 NRL games for the Knights.

The luckless back-rower missed most of the 2009 season with a broken ankle and spent three months on the sidelines this year with a torn pectoral.

But he has strung together seven consecutive first-grade games to attract the attention of Panthers supremo Phil Gould.

Meanwhile, Knights under-20 prop Josh Ailaomai is joining Sydney Roosters on a two-year deal.
