It was victory by design for Bennetts Green-based company Backyard Grannys after taking out the MBA Excellence in Building award for Granny flats.

Backyard Grannys has built over 400 granny flats across the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast in the last six years, developing a range of contemporary designer granny flat plans to suit every client’s unique budget, lifestyle and property requirements.

“It was an honour to be recognised by our industry peers,“ Backyard Grannys co-director  Alex Mitchell  said.

“We pride ourselves on our designer granny flat solutions, as well as our innovative approach to design and finishes.

“We were thrilled to be announced as the winner and very grateful for the team we have behind us.”

Whether you are an investor looking to unlock extra rental income, a family looking for more space to accommodate children or elderly relatives, a business owner needing an office at home or are simply looking for an extra entertaining area, Backyard Grannys has a design to suit you.

“Our team is committed to providing our clients with a high quality, professional service that is built on quality workmanship and integrity,” Mr Mitchell said.

“Each project that we undertake is completed to the highest standard, using the highest quality materials and is designed to achieve the ultimate return on investment.”

Because Backyard Grannys only builds granny flats, Mr Mitchell said clients can be assured that they know the industry inside out and have vast experience delivering a wide range of granny flats to suit a unique range of client requirements.

“Sloping sites and custom designs are not a problem for Backyard Grannys as we are flexible throughout the build process to ensure that your desired result is achieved,” Mr Mitchell said.
