NEW YORK native and serial entrepreneur Kaila Colbin will speak in Newcastle next week on the SingularityU summit slated in Australia in 2018.
Singularity University (SU), according to its website, is a global learning and innovation community using exponential technologies to tackle the world’s biggest challenges.
Ms Colbin is New Zealand’s ambassador for SU, chair of the non-profit Ministry of Awesome, the starting point to make things happen in Christchurch and curator and licensee for TEDxChristchurch in New Zealand and TEDxScottBase in Antarctica.
She will speak on September 19 at the Hunter Design School about SU and organisers are part of a push for the the 2019 SU summit to be staged in the Hunter.
