Beach watch

Onshore winds set to continue for the next couple of days. Better breaks in the northern corners with cleaner waves and better shape.

Swell has swung more to the east at 1 to 1.5m. Wind moderate east to north-east.

First up on the incoming tide check out Flatrock, Newcastle Beach, South Bar and Cliff. Merewether starting to sand up. Birubi and Samurai up at Port Stephens. Dudley, Redhead, Frenchmans and Catho to the south.

Small patches of kelp about and slight sweeps running to the south. Beaches patrolled and swim in the flagged areas. Water temp on 18 degrees Celsius.
