Warners Bay enjoys position on the eastern side of beautiful Lake Macquarie while also being just 15 kilometres from Newcastle's Central Business District.
The family friendly and ever growing suburb has a strong commercial hub with over 615 businesses, a popular cafe and restaurant strip overlooking the water and indoor shopping centre.
It has a population of 7614 but is set to experience residential growth with stylish apartments in new developments selling fast.
The suburb has a strong family focus with a number of good schools and recreational facilities on offer. They include an ice rink, shared pathways, ten pin bowling alley, laser tag complex, indoor go karting and multiple gymnasiums.
FROM THE EXPERTS
A once sleepy and tight-knit community with large lots and scattered farmland to a bustling vibrant hub with an energetic lifestyle.
As a kid, I remember many Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations upon my nan’s deck overlooking the Esplanade. The best part of the night was not only the time spent with the family but the energy that came from the local community.
With council focusing on upgrades to the Esplanade and an impressive effort to keep the events rolling, it feels like Warners Bay is returning to its former glory. This coupled with the sterling reputation of schools and shops makes it easy to see why it is a big drawcard for people looking for a suburb to call home.
It is not only attracting buyers from Sydney and the Central Coast but for the first time in my career we are seeing buyers amassing from inner city Newcastle.
Times are changing but family life and the lifestyle of Warners Bay remains infectious.
