When you see the breathtaking views on offer from one of Merewether’s most recognisable residences it is easy to see why the owners have had no need for curtains.

Robinson Property’s Mike Flook has listed 1 Ridge Street for sale through an expressions of interest campaign and it is expected to garner plenty of attention.

“We were already in Merewether and would walk past every day,” the owners of the past nine years said.

“It was just the location basically. Nothing can build you out and every room has a view. The morning sunrise is pretty spectacular. We don’t have curtains or blinds.”

The dual-level home is set on a 693 square metre block with second access from Frederick Street.

It enjoys a U-shaped lay-out with a private and “protected” internal courtyard.

No price guide has been set for the five-bedroom home but Mr Flook sold nearby 107 Frederick Street, on 976sqm, in May for $5.05 million.
