Stage set for red hot talent roster

The impressive entertainment line-up at this year’s Newcastle and Hunter Truck Show and Transport Awareness Day is enough to draw the masses on its own, with some of the Hunter finest Country music acts set hit the stage at Maitland Showground this Sunday.

Joining the VCB onstage will six-time Golden Guitar winner Lyn Bowtell who won hearts on The Voice. With influences reaching from pure country to blues and jazz to reggae and pop she will have the crowd dancing through the show.

“Securing her for the Awareness Day was a coup for us, I am sure most of us will be excited when she hits the stage,”  committee member Brooke Stevenson said.

“It will be great to see us all enjoying the entertainment after the months of hard work.”

Joining these will also be rising country music star Jemma Beech, she has just returned from Nashville and has finished recording her first EP which is set to be released at Tamworth Country Music Festival 2018.
