Apartment living: Gated Aventine complex offers inner city living

Apartments in Aventine rarely hit the market, according to Ray White’s Darren Penn who is expecting plenty of interest in a property he has just listed for sale in the boutique complex.

Located at 70 Wolfe Street, The Hill, Mr Penn is marketing a spacious three-bedroom residence with a north-easterly aspect which enjoys harbour views.

The property has a price guide of $1.1 million to $1.2 million and has attracted plenty of interest from downsizers and Mr Penn was expecting a quick sale.

“They don’t come up very often in this complex and this one is quite unique,” Mr Penn said.

The apartment has parking for two cars, lift access, two bathrooms and a large private terrace.

Aventine is a secure complex which takes up an entire block. It features an outdoor swimming pool and spa, landscaped gardens and communal barbecue area.

Andrew Walker of Street Property Group is marketing a level 10 apartment in the new Arena residential complex overlooking Newcastle beach and said strong interest was coming from regional NSW.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence has a price guide of $1.29 million and is located at 75 Shortland Esplanade, Newcastle.

It has an east-facing deck with views to Newcastle beach and Nobbys headland.

In total there are 22 apartments across two blocks, Dudley East and Dudley West. The complex is located near the Fernleigh Track and has proven popular with downsizers and retirees.

After five months of marketing, only one apartment remains in the sought-after Dudley East block and 10 remaining in the Dudley West block.

There are only two terraces left from a total of 11 in the third stage of the development.

Prices range from $509,000 to $705,000 in the complex and construction is set to begin in 2018.
