HOSTS of the i2N Hunter Pitchfest have shifted the event to a bigger site to accommodate a swell in interest from startups competing for $3000 in prize money.

Run by Newystartups with the support of Dantia Smart Hub (DaSH), Dantia and the University of Newcastle, the inaugural Pitchfest was held in 2016 at DaSH in Charlestown.

With more than double the capacity turning up for the event, organisers have shifted it to the 110-seat Hoyts Cinema nearby.

The deadline for entries is Sunday, November 19, and tickets to the event are available until the event kicks off.

Pitchfest judges are Regional Angels founder Andrew McCallum, Three76 operations coordinator Siobhan Curran and Slingshot co-founder Trent Bagnall.
