Fatal motorbike accident at Tuggerah under police investigation

A motorbike rider has died after coming off his bike at Tuggerah on the Central Coast. 

Around 8pm on Wednesday the motorbike rider was travelling north on Gavenlock Road.

He hit a roundabout near the intersection of Johnson Road and was thrown from the bike.

The rider, a 22-year-old man from Mardi, was injured in the accident. 

Police provided first aid until paramedics arrived at the scene. 

The 22-year-old was taken to John Hunter Hospital where he later died.
