A medical practitioner has been charged after a woman was allegedly indecently assaulted during a number of consultations at his practice in the Hunter Region.
Police officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District were told the incidents allegedly occurred between February 2017 and February 2018. The alleged incidents involve a 32-year-old woman being inappropriately touched by a doctor during three separate consultations.
Following investigations, police charged a 45-year-old man on Monday March 5.
The man was charged with four counts of indecent assault.
He is expected to appear in Maitland Local Court Local Court on Wednesday March 14.
