HUNTER United opens its new look branch in Stockland Green Hills on March 22.
The current branch across the road from the centre will close and the new branch will be technology focused while offering customer convenience, says chief executive officer Tim Blomfield.
Gone is the traditional ATM and tellers at the back of the branch. Instead, in a first for the Hunter, there is a Teller Infinity Machine, fondly known as “Tiff”, which allows customers to choose between self-service cash withdrawals and deposits or staff assistance.
The move to not have an ATM hinges on the move by big banks to waive fees on ATM usage for cash withdrawals of non-customers, giving Hunter United members fee-free access to more than 12,000 ATMs.
