Newcastle-bred striker Kate Gill scored a hat-trick as Perth Glory continued Newcastle’s woeful start to the W-League season with a 6-1 defeat at Wanderers Oval.
Gill scored in the 58th and 63rd minutes before converting a penalty in injury time after bing fouled by Jets skipper Hayley Crawford.
Glory led 2-0 at half-time following a brilliant long-range strike from Lisa De Vanna in the fourth minute and an uncontested corner by Perth skipper Collette McCallum in the 19th.
Marianna Tabian scored for Perth in the 68th minute.
American import Tori Huster register the Jets' only goal five minutes later after knocking in a cross from Tiffany Boshers.
The loss keeps the Jets winless this year and last on one point after four rounds having conceded 15 goals in four matches.
