LETTER: Airport argument falls on deaf ears

I NOTE the suggestion that RAAF Williamtown become the second international airport has raised its ugly head again.

The cost of moving the RAAF would probably exceed the cost of building two new airports. RAAF Williamtown is  sited at Williamtown for sound strategic reasons and is growing.

The federal government has invested and continues to invest hundreds of millions of dollars at RAAF Williamtown. Hardly the actions of someone willing to give it away.
