TEEN pop sensation Reece Mastin is coming back to Newcastle.
The 2011 winner of Channel 7’s The X-Factor kicks off his Summer Nights Tour in Perth on December 1 before bringing it to Newcastle Entertainment Centre on January 19.
The show is all-ages.
The tour supports the release of his second album, Beautiful Nightmare, which arrives in stores on Friday.
Mastin, 17, said the show is ‘‘20 times bigger’’ than his tour earlier this year which included a sold-out concert at Civic Theatre Newcastle in February.
‘‘We’re going to be anywhere and everywhere, regional and national, so I can’t wait,’’ Mastin told The Newcastle Herald.
‘‘It’s the last show times 20. It’s going to be huge. I’ve been literally working on this tour for about a year.
‘‘To my fans in Newcastle, if you get a chance to come down to a show make sure you do. Anyone that came to the show last time would know it gets pretty crazy.’’
Since winning The X-Factor, Britain-born Mastin has scored a number one album and three consecutive chart-topping singles with Good Night, Shut Up & Kiss Me and Shout It Out.
Earlier this month, Mastin received his first ARIA music award nomination for song of the year for Good Night.
Joining Mastin on The Summer Nights Tour will be Justice Crew and The Janoskians.
