COOLMORE Classic placegetter Danish Twist will be spared a run on heavy going ahead of her Championships target.

Newcastle trainer Kris Lees nominated Danish Twist, Savoureux and Dal Cielo for the group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes (1200 metres) at Rosehill on Saturday, along with Karavali for the group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes and Singing and Slow Pace for the group 3 Neville Sellwood Stakes (both 2000m).

Lees said Danish Twist could use the race as a lead-up to the $1 million Coolmore Legacy on April 8 at Randwick but he “wouldn’t run her on a bog”. Danish Twist was last on heavy going in the group 2 Guy Walter Stakes but backed up for a narrow third on a soft track in the Coolmore Classic.

He said Karavali would not run on Saturday and instead was likely to compete a week later in the group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes.

Dal Cielo was also nominated for two races at Moonee Valley on Friday night, including the the group 1 William Reid Stakes in which he was unlikely to gain a start.

“The preference would be to run in Sydney if we get favourable weather,” Lees said.

As for Singing and Slow Pace, he said: "We’ll decide in the middle of the week whether they run. Slow Pace is high likely but the other one I’m still yet to decide."

He said boom three-year-old filly Invincible Gem had been sent for a spell.

Newcastle trainer Paul Perry has nominated Hollywood Mo (Tulloch Stakes), The Mission (Schweppervescence Handicap) and Wouldn’t It Be Nice (Star Kingdom) for Rosehill.

Perry had an early double at Armidale on Monday with Mr Grumpy and Assergi.
