GLOBAL beauty retailer Sephora will open in Charlestown Square next month.
The French-based company told the Herald the cosmetic store would be its sixth in NSW and 10th in the country.
Sephora country manager Libby Amelia said its most recent store opening in Campbelltown drew a crowd of more than 1500 before the doors opened.
“The first people in line left home at midnight to drive two hours to get there and started the queue at 2am,” Ms Amelia said.
“As we grow our footprint in the Australian market it’s so important to us that we continue to invigorate and inspire our customers, bringing them the best brands, services and experiences.”
Sephora stocks beauty products from more than 100 brands including skincare, makeup, fragrance and haircare. The opening follows Charlestown’s other Hunter-first retailers including H&M, Apple and Nike.
The Herald reported this week the man who brought Topshop to Australia, Hilton Seskin, had bought a building in Hunter Street Mall.
