Merewether are the first team through to the 2017 Herald Women's Premier League Grand final after downing Adamstown 4-0 at Myamblah Oval on Saturday in the second leg of their home-and-away semi-final.

United finished 6-1 up across the two legs after winning 2-1 in the first leg at Adamstown Oval on August 6.

Merewether took a 1-0 lead on Saturday around the 15th minute when set-piece specialist Jamee Ellis scored from a corner kick.

An ambulance had to be called for the second week in a row, when Rosebud player Taylor Kelly had a head clash with United's Sarah Halvorsen and was thought to be concussed.

Rhali Dobson extended the lead 10 minutes into the second half when she scored from close range after Adamstown goalkeeper Natalie Wiseman looked to have wrapped the ball up from a Merewether shot only to drop it at the W-League striker's feet.

Dobson made it a match brace in the 77th minute with met Halvorsen's cross and executed a textbook first-touch finish from directly in front of goal.

Ellis took the score to 4-0 with a sublime left-footed free kick from 25 metres out which hit the woodwork and dropped into goal.

United's grand final opponents will be decided at John Street Oval on Sunday.

Warners Bay lead Mid North Coast 4-2 in their semi-final.
