The humble RV or recreational vehicle, as it’s less commonly termed, has come on in leaps and bounds in recent years. This rapidly growing market is expected to continue to surge in popularity as retirees hit the open road and spend their golden years discovering Australia.
Aaron O’Brien of Beaches RVs has worked in the industry for ten years and has seen first hand the number of Australians turning to motorhome holidays expand exponentially.
“While the biggest uptake is among retirees, we are seeing a lot more singles and families opt for RVs as a means to explore the country. In fact one of the fastest growing groups is females over the age of 55,” he begins.
As Founder of Beaches RVs O’Brien established the company 3 years ago and set about delivering a dealership that would raise the bar in the quality of RVs available and give consumers the assurance and reliability they need when they need it most - on the open road.
“I am very confident that the vehicles we offer are among the best you will see. The quality, cleanliness, presentation and servicing we offer is our absolute focus and why our customers are loyal,” he continues.

With literally dozens of floor-plans to choose from, the vehicles have an interior that will suit just about anyone and with options for added accessories (think solar) or for the serious traveler - custom designs, no stone is left unturned.
In fact there’s so much stock to choose from the business will be operational from its new, larger premises in Belmont from October 30. There’s plenty of models to view and a team of experienced staff that can advise you on the best model for you.
Beaches RVs also offers a repairs and service centre and provides a 12 month mechanical warranty on all vans purchased. No matter where you might find yourself, if a mechanical issue arises, the warranty helpline will point you towards the nearest repair centre to ensure you’re back on the road as quickly as possible.
And once you’re done traveling Beaches RVs are happy to discuss buying back your vehicle at an agreed value.
“Generally, the vehicles do really hold their value, with some models in high demand so we are always happy to discuss buying back an RV if appropriate,” says O’Brien.
And with that it’s time to dig out those maps and hit the road.
