Another week and another couple of strong results have been registered in Maryville.
There were eight registered bidders at the auction of an original three-bedroom home on 305 square metres in popular McMichael Street last Saturday.
Robert Crawford Real Estate marketed the property at No.44 with a price guide of $500,000 to $550,000 but after some competitive bidding it was secured for $620,000.
Robert Crawford said the result followed on from a $675,000 sale of 58 McMichael Street prior to auction earlier this month.
“The auctioneer said he had a day where a lot hadn’t sold and there was only 50 per cent clearance rate in Sydney, which is probably a trend that might continue,” Mr Crawford said.
“We’ve only had one property in the past 12 months that hasn’t sold either before or at auction and we like the method.”
It takes the number of sales in McMichael Street to nine this year.
