Robinson Property has been named Australia’s leading real estate sales office for the third year in a row.  

The long-standing Newcastle agency secured the position in the Real Estate Business Top 50 Sales Offices 2018 ranking. 

With three generations of proud local ownership, Robinson Property general manager Matt Waddell said the Newcastle agency had repositioned itself in the past year to work to the mantra to always “welcome better”. 

“2018 marks the third year in a row we have won the first prize. We were excited the first year, humbled the second – and this year we are simply proud as punch,” Mr Waddell said.

“The prize recognises results and efficiency. The team at Robinson, a family business with three generations of proud local ownership, have worked together to list and sell the most, at a total dollar value and with an efficiency rating of sales people to staff ratio, that has out-ranked all other real estate agencies in Australia.”

He said the accolade was particularly pleasing at a challenging time for the industry.

“We recognise we have more work ahead in terms of battling the perception of an industry that is ranked just above that of a used car sales person and below politicians in terms of trust,” Mr Waddell said.

“We are not the fast-talking, dazzling agents you may associate with the industry; we are hard-working and efficient.”
