FIT FOR A QUEEN Doughheads is offering a very special doughnut for this weekend only. Known as the Glamazon, it was created in honour of the 40th anniversary of Sydney’s Mardis Gras and is inspired by Ru Paul. Chocolate dough is filled with honeycomb custard, dipped in white chocolate ganache and decorated with brightly-coloured chocolate ribbons, shards of fresh honeycomb and edible glitter. And the best bit is, $1 from every Glamazon sold this weekend will be donated to the Twenty10 organisation which offers support to LGBQTI+ people and their families.
AVO CROUTONS Ever heard of avocado croutons? Sydney’s Cruise Bar is going one step further than smashed avo on toast and adding avocado croutons seasoned with onions, coriander and chilli salt to their Foraged Green Goddess Salad. The salad also contains greens, kale, cherry tomatoes, carrot, pear and walnuts.
