WINNING QUALITIES: Trust and integrity.

WINNING QUALITIES: Trust and integrity.

Former US president Dwight D. Eisenhower once said: “The supreme quality of leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible”.

Honesty and integrity, values and core beliefs, are key. Without ethics, it is not possible to be a good leader.

There is, and has been, much disruption in workplaces recently with claims of bullying, harassment and sexual harassment. More cases are emerging, involving those with the power to influence workplaces.

There comes a time to move forward and work on making the changes to heal and ensure that preventive strategies are in place.

Making the cultural change will be challenging where leadership has covered up, or ignored, the victims’ cries for help, thus compounding the behaviour

Can this cultural change happen where leadership has ‘fallen from grace’?

“Trust isn’t given it’s earned.”
