In May 2007 the final episode of the Gilmore Girls aired on television and fans around the world cried out for more.

Their thirst for the fast-talking mother-daughter duo from the town of Stars Hollow, was quenched when a mini-series revival landed on television in 2016.

Now fans of the show can relive the nostalgia of the Gilmore Girls right here in Newcastle.

The Stars Hollow troubadour is coming to town.

The troubadour, better known as musician Grant-Lee Phillips, is playing at The Wickham Park Hotel on Thursday night.

He will be performing music from his latest release Widdershins.

The cult love for the Gilmore Girls has opened a new generation of listeners to his music. Get details of the gig here.

Let’s hope that second town troubadour doesn’t show up and ruin the show…
