AUSTRALIAN folk royalty The Waifs and vaudeville bluesman C.W Stoneking will headline the fourth edition of Dashville Skyline from September 28 to 30 at Lower Belford.

The Waifs were last in Newcastle in November during the Supercars weekend when they performed at the Civic Theatre on their Ironbark tour.

While C.W Stoneking is gearing up for his biggest round of shows when he supports American rock behemoth Queens Of The Stone Age on their Australian tour in August and September.

That includes a show at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on August 30.

C.W Stoneking last played at Lower Belford in 2012 at Gum Ball, which Dashville organiser Matt Johnston rates as one of the festival’s most iconic moments.

Ever since Johnston has been working to bring the ARIA award-winner back to his family property.  

Joining The Waifs and C.W Stoneking on the three-day celebration of Americana, alt-country, psychedelia, folk and bluegrass will be Kurri Kurri’s Tori Forsyth, Hat Fritz & Cara, 19-Twenty, The San Sebastian, The Settlement, Papa Pilko & The Binrats, Davey Craddock, James Ellis & The Jealous Guys, Ralway Bell, The Sweet Jelly Rolls, Cat Canteri, Ruby Gilbert, Sam Newton, The High Andies and Steel City.

More acts will be revealed in July.
