SPANISH SALUTE The Beach Hotel at Merewether is hosting a Spanish Night & Winter Solstice on Thursday, June 21. Kegs of 2015 Coopers Vintage Release which have been stored in their cellar for three years will be opened, there will be Spanish wine, music, tapas and, of course, sangria. No need to book – just rock up from 6pm.

GIN IS THE TONIC Champion Tasmanian distiller Bill Lark and wine industry leader Judith Kennedy AM are joining forces to manage the inaugural 2019 Australian Gin Awards and associated “Meet the Makers” events at the Sydney Gin Palooza.
