A pedestrian has been hit by a car during the morning commute on Friday.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, was involved in the collision on Albert Street at Wickham. The incident occurred near the intersection of Maitland Road.
Paramedics were called to the scene about 8.45am and found the woman conscious and breathing when they arrived on site.
According to a spokesman from NSW Ambulance, early reports suggest the incident occurred when the car was at a low speed and the woman suffered a minor head injury and a possible leg injury.
No other information is available at this time.
Paramedics remained on scene at 9.15am. The woman is expected to be conveyed to John Hunter Hospital.
