Jennifer Hawkins wardrobe open to The Salvation Army for auction

ONE of Newcastle’s most famous faces is stepping out as a role model in aid of The Salvation Army.

Holmesville native Jennifer Hawkins will use the spoils of her modelling career to raise money for the charity organisation, putting the cloth on the chopping block.

The former Ms Universe has partnered with the organisation to sell off some of her designer wardrobe including items from Alex Perry, Toni Maticevski, Sass and Bide, and Acne.

“This sale is a really fun way to make a difference,” Hawkins said. “Not only can you pick up some designer clothes for a great price, but  you can feel good knowing your money is going towards a good cause."

The clothes donated by Jennifer Hawkins will be for sale online from 8pm on Saturday through eBay at

The sales will close next Thursday at 8pm.

The money will help fund the Salvos’ efforts, which in a typical week include offering refuge to 100 women affected by domestic violence and 40,000 meals.
