With over 76,000 Year 12 students preparing to sit their final Higher School Certificate exams, HSC In The Holidays and the University of Newcastle (UON) are again proudly hosting a series of HSC workshops in the upcoming September holidays.
The full-day workshops are run by expert HSC teachers on campus and are designed to help Year 12 students understand the key areas of study within each of the 14 subjects offered.
There are also over 450 resources, study guides, and parent reports available for free on the study program website.
“The workshops are extremely important for students as they are the most effective way to prepare for the final exams,” HSC In The Holidays’ program director Shane Hardcastle said.
“They are designed to engage students and give them a chance to boost their HSC marks.
“They will be taught key ideas as well as essential exam techniques that will help them get the best results from their answers.”
Past student, Connie Yao, who is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws, stated that the assistance she received from the HSC In The Holidays’ study programs was extremely helpful and definitely contributed to her outstanding 98.55 ATAR.
“Talking to other students from other schools helps you to see if your ideas are all the same and that you’re on the right track,” she said.
Although Connie was a confident student, she could see how much the workshops assisted all those who attended.
HSC In The Holidays, in partnership with UON has been operating successful Year 12 student revision programs for the past three years.
The success of these workshops can only be measured through the achievement of past students who have attended the programs and can vouch for their invaluable worth.
