BEACHWATCH 

Freshening seabreezes giving it the feel of a change of season. Best to get in early while conditions are cleanest before chopping up for the afternoon. Swell dropping off from the East to S/E at 1m. Winds North Tending N/E. Northern corners offering some protection and suiting the direction. Newcastle Beach off the middle, South Bar and The Cliff. Merewether towards late morning high. Dudley, Redhead and Frenchmans to the south. Samurai and Birubi up at Port Stephens. Shallow afternoon low tide and some kelp at Nobbys. Waters cool in and only swim at the patrolled beaches. Water temp 15C. - Dave Anderson
