The name Mudchucka is a colloquial term for the company’s area of expertise, and one which director Jake Bujayer embraces.
“We are humbled, honoured and proud to be nominated for such a prestigious award and never thought our trade would be recognised at this level,” Jake said.
“We have never won an award or even been nominated so we are delighted that our hard work is being recognised.
“Our ethos has always been to retain our family values, pride in our work and continual progression regardless of growth, and to have every member of our team feel valued.”
Mudchucka has grown from servicing small residential builds to large scale commercial projects and high end architectural builds from Sydney to Nelson Bay.
“We embrace progression and new technologies in a rapidly changing construction environment and also the heritage of solid plastering that many have forgotten,” Jake said.
“To win this award would would give my whole team the validation they deserve and give the apprentices confirmation they made the right choice. Not easy when your covered in mud everyday!”
