Man dies after Central Coast crash, Pacific Highway on-ramp closed

A man has died in hospital following a crash on the Central Coast.

Just before 4am Monday emergency services were called to Riou Street, Gosford, to reports of a single-vehicle crash.

The driver and sole occupant, a 38-year-old man, was pulled from the vehicle and treated by paramedics at the scene.

He was taken to Gosford Hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.

Officers from Brisbane Water Police Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
