BEACHWATCH 

Onshore winds to begin to ease and conditions to start to clean up during the afternoons incoming tide. Not a great deal of quality today but should be better for the weekend. Swell from the South at 1 to 1.5m.Wind lighter from the South. Southern corners handling direction best with Merewether and Pogos for the early. Nobbys Bank on the low tide. Dudley, Blacksmiths and Catho to the south. One Mile and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Sweeps running to the north and beaches sanding back up. Only swim at the patrolled beaches at Nobbys and Bar Beach. Water temp 16C. - Dave Anderson

Winds Southerly 10 to 15 knots becoming variable about 10 knots in the early afternoon. Seas 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing below 1 metre around midday. 

1st Swell Southerly 1 to 1.5 metres. 2nd Swell Easterly around 1 metre.
