Newcastle Beachwatch with Dave Anderson: Friday, September 21, 2018

Onshore winds to begin to ease and conditions to start to clean up during the afternoons incoming tide. Not a great deal of quality today but should be better for the weekend. Swell from the South at 1 to 1.5m.Wind lighter from the South. Southern corners handling direction best with Merewether and Pogos for the early. Nobbys Bank on the low tide. Dudley, Blacksmiths and Catho to the south. One Mile and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Sweeps running to the north and beaches sanding back up. Only swim at the patrolled beaches at Nobbys and Bar Beach. Water temp 16C. - Dave Anderson
