ON PAGE six, under the heading “Festival returns to the foreshore” (Herald 11/10), the first sentence reads: “Live At The Foreshore is back with a triple threat of headliners in Kate Ceberano, Marcia Hines and Leo Sayer”. Thanks for the warning.

FOR all you blinkered, anti-coal, global warming misinformed fanatics. Check out how many different so-called “greenhouse gases” are produced by aeroplanes and ships, and the volume thereof. That should stop you from flying and going on cruises.

CAN I suggest reading the RMS Maitland railway station roundabout preferred option report. It's available on the web - Options Assessment June 2013 - will clarify misconceptions about the eastbound overpass. A westbound overpass may have even had a different impact on the 2015 super storm flood event in Maitland had it been in place. Let's debate using facts rather than perceptions, emotions and hyperbole.

I HAVE written on this topic previously but I am still astounded at the number of vehicles driving around at dusk without headlights, especially in the current weather conditions. Please use some common sense.

DEB Gadd (Short Takes 11/10), I couldn’t agree with you more. I find Alan Jones an arrogant, rude, pompous bully-boy. My theory on why our politicians have been silent over his treatment of Louise Herron is that they are too busy bullying their own female colleagues and have chosen to ignore Jones’ abhorrent behaviour. The only politician I can remember standing up to Jones is Malcolm Turnbull when he said “Alan, I will not be taking dictation from you”. I keep asking myself, who does he think he is?

JOCKEYS have bad rides and get suspended and disqualified, but the carpet strollers who plastered the Opera House with that Everest light graffiti have in my opinion brought racing into disrepute. What's the penalty for that?

I WOULD like to say I have 67 audio tapes of some of my sessions with mediums. This is my evidence for my allegation that I found mediums to be genuine in connecting with correct information.
