Winds freshening from the S/E to East by the afternoon. Tide is a shallow low early and most beaches tending to close out. Best option Nobbys Bank and Alley at Newcastle. Southern corners of Dudley and Catho further down the coast. Birubi and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Erosion in corner of Merewether and sweep on lower tides. Still seeing bluebottles.
