Small conditions for the first half of the week.
There are just a couple of banks about that are handling the fuller tides.
Best to get in early while the tides still low. Swell from the south to south-east at 0.5 to one metre.
Wind light and variable starting off north-west to north tending east for the afternoon.
Shallow morning low tide to suit South Bar, Cliff, Dixon and Merewether.
Cowrie Hole and Bar Reef on high tide. Burwood, Redhead and Moonie to the south.
Birubi and Samurai up at Port Stephens.
Water may be crystal clear in though a few patches of kelp in southern corners.
Swim in flagged areas at the patrolled beaches. Water temperature 17 degrees.
