Jesse Wilton and Mark Kentwell, of PRDnationwide Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, sold a near-new home in Cooks Hill for a street high $1.675 million, according to Australian Property Monitors data.
They marketed the modern four-bedroom residence at 60 Bull Street, which attracted strong local interest and sold prior to auction.
“It was large, low maintenance and private and they were the main reasons why people loved it,” Mr Wilton said.
The previous highest sale for Bull Street, according to APM data, was $1.085 million two years ago.
The pair are also marketing a renovated, two-bedroom Victorian terrace in Cooks Hill at 20 Railway Street, which has already attracted good interest from first home buyers and investors with a price guide of $700,000.
It is set for auction on December 12.
