SUMMER'S bite has eased in the Hunter, with a few mild days predicted into next week.
Maximum temperatures are expected to stick to the high 20s until Monday, when they will reach back into the low 30s.
Evening relief is also due to continue into next week, with temperatures predicted to dip to between 18 and 20 degrees until Friday.
The warm days are likely to be welcomed by surfers, who turned out in force on the city's beaches on Friday for southerly inshore swell.
Saturday's second swell is expected to be similar after an easterly earlier in the day.
A southerly change is expected late on Monday, with showers possible by Thursday.
