There has been strong early interest for a luxurious and expansive property in a tightly held pocket of Dudley.
Belle Property's Katie Kepner is marketing a tri-level, four-bedroom and five-bathroom residence complete with a resort-like swimming pool and spa at 14 Bimbae Close, where homes do not often change hands.
Seclusion, on nearly 1300 square metres of land at the end of a cul-de-sac with a bush backdrop, and ocean views are expected to provide key appeal to both local and out-of-town buyers.
"Dudley is such a tightly held area that people wait for these luxury homes to come up," Ms Kepner said.
"It's pretty hard to get such a private block while still capturing a view like that, especially in Dudley."
The home is surrounded by manicured gardens. It has a choice of indoor and outdoor living areas, including a large terrace with panoramic views and a downstairs retreat complete with built-in bar.
Floor-to-ceiling glass throughout takes advantage of the views on offer. The property also has a separate studio and an oversized two-car garage with workshop.
It is set for auction on May 11 with interest expected to start over $2 million.
The property will be open for inspection from midday until 12.30pm on Saturday.
Oyster Cove offering
From one home offering space and water views to another, McGrath Newcastle City's Emily Rees is marketing a property at Oyster Cove she said had plenty of possibilities.
The four-bedroom home with a granny flat at 75 Frederick Drive is on around 2200 square metres of land and has been in the same ownership for the past 20 years.
It is an absolute waterfront property with a deep water berth and Ms Rees said could be used as a spacious family home, weekender or a holiday rental.
It is being marketed with a guide of $1.05 million to $1.15 million and early interest has mostly been from Sydney and Melbourne.
"It's a great price for a waterfront property," Ms Rees said.
Inspections are by appointment.
