It is so easy in life to get overly stressed about life, particularly when there are things that you have no control over. When your life presents those kinds of challenges you basically have two choices.
You can feel completely overwhelmed with the idea that you cannot control your circumstances and you can let the overwhelm permeate all areas of your life. In which case, the stress wins and your reaction makes it more difficult.
Or you can do a complete audit and look at all of the elements of your life you can control: your food intake, your exercise program, your house cleanliness, your choice of the activities and how you spend your time.
You soon start to see elements that are actually in your control.
This makes you feel much better, makes the perception of the stress seem smaller, more manageable and to have less impact.
