"The Lake House at Eleebana is a beautiful modern home close to all the amazing amenities of Lake Macquarie, offering respite options for families by supporting children and young people to relax on short-term stays, meet and socialise with people of similar ages and interests," Ability Options Hunter General Manager, Naomi McCorkell said.
"The Lake House also fosters independence away from home for people under the age of 25.
"There are plenty of activities onsite, including a playground with sun shade sails, liberty swing, games and a large backyard,"
"Newcastle Temporary Care also provides opportunities for fun outings and day trips in a fully accessible vehicle".
Ability Options has been around since 1976, and commenced supporting people in the Hunter in 2013.
"Despite the huge changes to the way supports are provided to people living with disability since the introduction of NDIS, we have had the opportunity to collaborate with so many people and deliver the assistance they need to live their best life."
