A Port Stephens man is facing a string of drug-related charges after he became the target of a home invasion.
The 23-year-old was at the property on Ocean Avenue, Anna Bay, about 2am on Wednesday when he was woken by five unknown men.
One of the men allegedly assaulted the 23-year-old, while others allegedly began stealing items including drugs, cash and a TV.
The five men are believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle.
The 23-year-old was taken to Tomaree Hospital for treatment of lacerations to his head.

Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter police spoke with the man at hospital.
They then established a crime scene at the Ocean Avenue home.
During a search, police allegedly found cannabis, MDMA, ketamine, amphetamine, LSD, magic mushrooms and other substances believed to be illicit drugs.
The occupant was arrested upon his release from hospital and was taken to Nelson Bay police station.
He was charged with 11 counts of possessing prohibited drug, three counts of supplying a prohibited drug and goods in custody.
He was refused bail to appear at Raymond Terrace local court on Thursday.
